An Honest Review – Dr. Sasidharan Gave Me My Life Back The struggle was real, the pain was real, and so was my comeback—thanks to Dr. Sasidharan. For the past 16 months, I suffered immensely from low back pain. I visited countless doctors, underwent multiple MRI scans, physiotherapy sessions, oil massages, acupuncture, and tried every possible treatment. I consulted doctors at both renowned hospitals and smaller clinics. I was also undergoing regular treatment with an orthopedic doctor at Global Hospital. Four months ago, I had an appointment with my regular doctor, but he was unavailable that day. By chance, I ended up meeting Dr. Sasidharan—and that was the turning point in my journey. Dr. Sasidharan listened to my concerns patiently and treated me with remarkable friendliness—something I had never experienced before with any doctor. He thoroughly analyzed my condition and debunked the common diagnosis I had been given. Every other doctor I had seen attributed my pain to an L4-L5 disc bulge. However, Dr. Sasidharan carefully assessed my symptoms and concluded that they did not align with an L4-L5 disc issue. Instead, he conducted a thorough investigation and discovered that my pain was due to an L5-S1 fusion in my spine. He then suggested a steroid injection to relieve the pain. I had refused steroids for 16 months because previous doctors only recommended them as a trial-and-error solution without identifying the real cause of my pain. But since Dr. Sasidharan had pinpointed the exact issue, I trusted his advice and proceeded with the treatment. Even after taking the steroid injection on November 24, I was still experiencing pain, which made me extremely worried. However, after about a month, on December 24, my pain gradually started to subside. Today, I am 80% better and able to carry out my daily activities without difficulty. Dr. Sasidharan not only saved me from unnecessary surgery but also from ineffective treatments based on mere assumptions. I am sharing this review for the first time because I truly want others to find the right doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Sasidharan, and I’m sure he’ll be happy to read this. I’m writing this review for anyone suffering from disc issues in the spine. I had a herniated disc at L5-S1 for the past 4 months. I tried a 14-day Ayurvedic treatment at Kottakkal in Kerala, and while the pain reduced during the treatment, I still couldn’t walk for more than 10 minutes. After returning home and resting for a week, the pain came back severely — I couldn’t walk even for 2 minutes, couldn’t sit or stand, and lying down was also very uncomfortable due to intense nerve pain. I consulted orthopedic and neurosurgeons at multi-specialty hospitals, and they all recommended surgery — either endoscopic or micro lumbar discectomy. I am Anita Mishra, and I want to share my experience of spine fusion surgery at Global Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Sasidharan. Two months ago, when I met Dr. Sasidharan, my condition was very bad. I was neither able to walk properly nor bend, my hands and legs were numb, and I was in severe pain.
